Please continue to be reading your Literature fair book at home! The date is quickly approaching!
Info about the project can be found on the NLCA homepage under Menu/forms

Also, your child has been reviewing their multiplication facts, please be practicing with them at home. We start division next week, and we need to be sure they are confident in their multiplication skills.

Some important dates to remember:
September 24th-picture day re-take
September 25th- See You at the Flagpole
September 27th-Grandparent's Day
October 2nd- Agriculture Day Field Trip
October 3rd- Literature Fair (This is required for 3rd grade students) You can find more information regarding the Literature Fair on the school homepage, under forms and menus

October 7-Bible Verse Test
October 9th-County Literature Fair (students will know if they qualify on October 2nd.
 October 14th- the week of the book fair

Important tests and quizzes next week:
Monday:Math Quiz
Tuesday: History Practice Quiz, Spelling Pre-test List 4,
Wednesday: Science Practice Quiz, Spelling  List 4 Test
Thursday: Language Test
Friday: Grandparent's Day!

We do play the game "Around the World" and we want them to be confident :)

We will be studying Language, Science, and History in class :)

Please be helping your child at home with time telling down to the minute on an analog clock.  They also need to know a quarter after, half past, and quarter til.  These terms are actually posted on our clock in the classroom, but they need practice.
